Good value Positive: Clean Negative: Narrow winding stairs

Positive: I like the fact that the apartment was clean and close to various restaurants, supermarket and American Dream Negative: I didn't like the fact that it was advertised with a washing machine and as we was looking there was no washing machine in the apartment but instead it was in the basement... I also didn't like the fact the the host knew there was going to be 4 people on the premise and gave us a toilet paper and a half for use.... There was also no cold water so we had to shower with hot water, on top of that there was absolutely no street parking because it seemed like every home in the neighborhood had at least 4 vehicles per house hold so I had to find parking far away from the house meanwhile there's a big ol space in the backyard where I could've park but the neighbors definitely would let you know that you can not park there at all which is very in convenient.... The bathroom window curtains had missing parts to them so we had to put a towel in the window so when we use the bathroom no could look in from outside... Also there's chores that you have to do upon check out like take out the garbage, take the beddings off the bed and place them near the bathroom along with the towels from in the bathroom.... The stay was ok but these few inconveniences definitely mad the it uncomfortable

Older couple with adult child Positive: Price was clean and not far from where we were going. Negative: Having to search for a parking spot on the street that was close, having to park several streets over the walk to the apartment in the rain. And the stairs are a total workout, not easy for older couple. We certainly got our cardio workout.

A nightmare! Promised refund still not issued after 1 month and Booking.com is not helping either. Positive: DO NOT BOOK! Absolute SCAMMERS! The listing promised free parking on premises and when we got there and parked, someone else blocked us in and started a fight with us! The property offered a full refund if we checked out earlier, which we did. Then they tried to back down and only refund the night we checked out. We had to cut our vacation short and our toddlers were left traumatized by the experience! It’s been a month and still no refund. They say it has been issued but offer absolutely no proof. SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS. Please do yourself a favour and book elsewhere! Negative: Horrible experience!! And the place is disgusting, filthy and smells like dog pee.

Unexpectedly, I needed to travel down to the NYC area when my Mother had to go into the hospital. The last minute nature of the trip precluded me from finding someone to sit for my dogs, so fining a place that would take us and allow me to be with my Mom and accommodate the dogs was important. This unit in Passaic was perfect for my needs this trip, clean, quiet, pet friendly, off-street parking, and just the right size. There are plenty of bodegas nearby and a park for walks with your furry friends. The hosts left me instructions at just the right times and were responsive. Thank you for sharing your property!
